- Specialized Immigrant Visa (SIV)

In lieu of recent world events, Phalanx Consulting felt compelled to assist those oppressed with the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) process. This process can seem daunting and stressful to someone whose only wish is to come to the United States and pursue the American dream ~ pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. In the wake of the United States departure from Afghanistan, thousands of refugees have been attempting to obtain SIV’s. This quickly created an unprecedented backlog that could take up to three years to process.

With our team of experts in the immigrant process, we can “advise and assist” government agencies with the assessment / vetting process in order to ensure we protect our way of life. We thoroughly understand the process, eligibility requirements, How to apply?, timelines and costs. Our goal is to assist all government agencies in an effort to “pulling the slack” out of the system without sacrificing security in the process.

Resettlement Services

Oftentimes, the process of applying for and the approval of receiving a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) may appear to be the hardest part of coming to the United States. What happens once an approved SIV awardee, and their families arrive to the United States? We are able to assist local, state, and federal agencies with the required support to ensure a seamless process from beginning to assimilation into our society. Here is a list of those services we are able to provide:

  • Housing Support: Each family will be provided a rental property that best meets their interim needs through one of our rental management companies.
  • Subsistence Support: Many of our SIVs families have certain dietary requirements such as halal meals or medically prescribed diet plans. We are able to assist in the procurement of such dietary needs.
  • Culture Sensitivity Training: Through our extensive relationship with local academic institutions, we are able to provide cultural sensitivity training to all family members in order to facilitate their transition into their new lives, as needed.
  • Job Skills Training: Dovetailing into our relationship with local academic institutions, our job skills training facilitates marketable skills; if not already possessed, in turn creating a sense of accomplishment needed to facilitate their transition as contributing members of society.

- Wildland Fire Fighting

During a recent report published by the National Interagency Coordination Center which provides leadership and support not only for wildland fire emergencies, but to other emergency incidents (I.e.- earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes, etc.), they stated, “Nationally, there were 58,985 wildfires reported in 2021, compared to 58,950 wildfires reported in 2020. Reported wildfires consumed 7,125,643 acres nationally, compared to 10,122,336 acres in 2020. Estimated economic burden is between $71.1 billion to $347.8 billion…we at Phalanx Consulting understand the wicked problem and provide tailor made solutions depending on our customer needs. We can provide expertise in general fuel management reduction, aerial WFF, analysis based on hydrology/climatology, environmental impacts, as well as mitigation measures aimed at preserving conservation lands. Our demonstrated past performance shows we were able to reduce WF’s from 300+ annual fire starts to only 30 saving our customer over 30 million in damage, as well as mitigating the environmental impacts to sensitive ecosystems and endangered species. Each member has participated or lead Incident Command (IC) on a local, state, or federal level. Whatever our Client’s needs are, we can accommodate without question.
